The school year is finally coming to an end, and what better way to celebrate all of your VSAs’ accomplishments than at our 2nd Annual Gulf Coast Awards banquet?

Last year was our very first awards ceremony for the entire region. This year will be even bigger and better! Show up and represent your school and organization as we recognize the various VSAs in our region for their successes and major achievements. Apply for the UNAVSA Visionary Scholarship

Every year, around conference time, UNAVSA announces its Visionary Scholarship to attend its annual leadership conference. This is a wonderful opportunity for first-time attendees as the scholarship covers all costs to attend conference: registration, hotel, and transportation. Our very own External Vice President Thanh-Thanh Pham was a Visionary recipient at UNAVSA-10 in Anaheim. A Very LASO Christmas

Good food, toys, and Buddy the elf could be found at Loyola Asian Student Organization’s annual Christmas Party. Each year that LASO has held their Christmas party members bring not only food for the potluck, but participate in the year’s drive. The previous year, members brought foods for Second Harvest Food Bank, and this year the drive was toys for Toys for Tots. The night kicked off with members clad in holiday sweaters and pajamas gathering to watch the Christmas classic Elf while drinking bubble tea and eating foods like crawfish madeleine, Filipino lumpia, and an assortment of holiday themed desserts.Read More
