GC Gets Cultured

Fashion, food, and performances to never forget, UVSA Gulf Coast did it again with their annual cultural event this time celebrating a Cultural Night. The event was open to all UVSA Gulf Coast schools and anyone from the church or in the surrounding neighborhood, and all Louisiana schools and University of Southern Alabama had booths of food and an activity, as well as performances. USA VSA’s Spooktacular Halloween Party

On October 29th, 2016, the University of South Alabama's Vietnamese Student Association hosted their Annual Halloween Party in Mobile, Alabama. The event was a festive way to raise money and awareness for this year’s Collective Philanthropy Project (CPP), the Catalyst Foundation – an organization that focuses on improving the lives of abandoned, orphaned, and homeless children in Vietnam.

Camp Delta 9

Earlier this month, the ninth annual Camp Delta leadership retreat was hosted at Paul B. Johnson State Park in Hattiesburg, MS. Our very own Internal Vice President Mitchell Nguyen and Treasurer Tony Nguyen were on staff for this year's camp, as well as our fellow Cabinet members: Media Co-Chairmen Calvin and Kevin Tran, Community Service Cabinet member Adriana Sanchez, and Public Relations Cabinet member Catherine Nguyen!

UVSA Gulf Coast Leadership Retreat

For the past two years, the UVSA Gulf Coast Executive Board has hosted an annual President's Retreat to help unite our region's VSAs and provide the respective presidents with the necessary skills and knowledge to tackle the upcoming year. This year we decided to include not only VSA Presidents, but also each VSA's Intercollegiate Council Representative!
