Please describe the purpose of this video, your intention and goals, as well as creative process behind it.

The video is a parody of the animated version of the Naruto/Sasuke fight. Most of the other schools in GC seemed to be doing super professional, high quality dances and videos, so we wanted to go against the stream and have a bit of fun with our video. Thus, our goal of making a stupendous, purposefully low-budget Naruto fight was set. The creative process behind the making of the video was purely improv. Our opinion on making a comedy video was that if we, the actors weren’t laughing, the audience wouldn’t either. Though the scenes had to roughly follow the anime, many of our scenes were created simply by what we thought was funny. The best example of this would be the person acting as Sasuke’s “wings” in the final scene. That was only done because one of the members thought it would be funny to do as a blooper, but we were happy to find it worked out well in the edit. In the end, the video could have never been made if we weren’t open to suggestions and didn’t try to have fun.
