Summit is UVSA Gulf Coast's first regional leadership and professional development conference in which young leaders from across the Gulf Coast unite for three days and two nights, network with one another, learn more about Vietnamese culture, grow to become leaders within their local communities, and develop their professional skills to aid them in their career endeavors.
Attendees will be able to experience motivational speakers, engage in educational workshops, network and participate in unity activities with other young leaders from within the region, as well as those outside the Gulf Coast region, and more.
The Union of Vietnamese Student Associations Gulf Coast (UVSA Gulf Coast) is proud to present the Fourth Leadership and Professional Development Summit at Loyola University in New Orleans, LA. UVSA Gulf Coast Leadership & Professional Development Summit is a gathering of young adults from the Vietnamese-American communities across Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. The purpose of Summit is to assist these young leaders with the right tools to develop as leaders and professionals.
This year, UVSA-GC’s Summit theme is "Charting the River’s Course”. Relating to the proverb “Sông có khúc, người có lúc” the theme is a reminder that though a river has many unexpected curves and twists, the water will continue to flow ~Just how life has is trials and tribulations, everything will be okay.
The support of those in our community helps remind us that, eventually, we will all reach the end of our stream together, and perhaps the golden opportunity to change our lives for the better.
Join us as we continue our Leadership and Professional Development Summit, where young leaders across the region can refine their professional skills while engaging with likeminded individuals that can help chart your course.

LODGING AND HOUSING FEES
Attendees will be housed at…TBA. Attendees will register via the online platform.
Cost for lodging is to be announced. Although lodging is not mandatory for attendees, we highly recommend everyone to be housed on campus.
Updates and announcements regarding Housing Registration will be announced through the website. When attendees register for housing, they will have the opportunity to sign up for a roommate finder.
