Please explain the idea behind this design and how it was executed. How successful does this design get its message across?
This t-shirt was inspired by the Three Ladies Rice Bag and the trending blind box character brand, Smiskis. The incorporation of Smiskis caters to the recent spike and sensation of blind boxes. Mixing it with the Three Ladies Brand helps incorporate our own Vietnamese culture into it, along with other countries such as Thailand and Laos. These three characters are all posed and dressed with the tradition wear of the three countries just like the original rice bag is designed. The shirt comes in an ivory color to represent the color of the raw grains of rice and we used red for the text to represent the red details of the original rice bag.
