Please describe the purpose of this dance, including your intention, goals, and creative process.
The purpose of this video is to introduce the 2023-2024 VSALSU E-Board members in a fun and comedic way. The whole production of the video is a big reference to the famous sitcom “The Office”. We wanted each person to adopt the personalities of those from the show to fully encompass the atmosphere of “The Office”. We enacted scenes directly from the show, but we also added our own creativity to create new scenes. There were many moments where the camera would silently pan in closely to the actor’s face, just to add a sense of discomfort. My goal was to entertain our general members while they were slowly introduced to this group of strangers called E-Board.
