Please describe the purpose of this video, your intention and goals, as well as creative process behind it.

First we already wanted to establish ourselves as different from other schools, following from last year's success, we have decided to follow with our dramatic genre and incorporating it into this past year's Date Auction theme which happened to be the Pixar movie, "Up". While planning the script, it was only best to focus it on a young Asian American student who wanted to continue with her passions only to be told to "Grow Up". This is such a common story for many young and growing adults, especially in college. The idea fit so well with the theme as Up, was definitely a movie about finding your place for your passion, whether it's travel or dance! It was such a beautiful and fun time for us and we enjoyed every bit of the filming and acting process. Our goal was to have our audience be able to deeply relate to it and feel as if they were also the main character as well. Sort of shining light on the topic of going after your aspirations despite other stigmas and conflicts.
