It was a Thursday 28, VSOUL decided to hold a painting event fully funded by them. It was to paint Hay Long Bay. About 20 people showed up to the chill night to take their minds off of school before fall break. They tried to create an atmosphere where people can relax and it did work.
How did this cultural program serve the campus and/or community?
The community enjoyed the relaxation the event provided for everyone. People got together and enjoyed the night that was spent.
Did the organization overcome any challenges that arose while planning and implementing the cultural program/event? How?
VSOUL faced the funding required to paint for the event. They needed to know how much they would need to buy and what items they would need. They decided to create a rsvp form to see and plan how much equipment was needed to buy.
