What inspired your organization to create this new event?
We wanted to be more inclusive and revamp our organization to cater more to our local demographic.
What efforts were used to motivate and involve the organization's members?
Our organization's members were already excited to see the event and what the new eboard would put on after a 2 year hiatus. We kept them engaged with a constant flow of social media posts.
Did the organization overcome any challenges that arose while planning and implementing the event? How?
We had scheduling conflicts with the event as well as with our eboard member's schedules. This was also our first time as an eboard working alongside SGA as well as making use of their funding. There were a lot of concerns with catering at one point that had to be resolved. We overcame scheduling conflicts by allowing our eboard members that weren't as available to leave early and worked around scheduling the event by talking CSI and Student Affairs.
