VSA-LSU would like to recognize the combined efforts of our members, which includes the creative production team, choreographers, auctionees, and dancers, while also showing support for our auctionees, who raised $4,192.75. With the overall theme being anime, VSA-LSU’s subtheme was Jujutsu Kaisen. Choreographers included songs that best represented that theme as well as incorporating dance moves and Jujustsu Kaisen-like dance uniforms from the anime. In the song mix, there also included anime phrases from favorable Jujutsu Kaisen characters like Gojo, Sakuna, Itadori, and Megumi. The usual VSA-LSU chant and flag were flown at the end to instill pride in not only our organization but also our institution. VSA-LSU 40 dancers and 4 choreographers have worked diligently as they’ve spent 11 or more practices perfecting a 6-minute performance for all of the VSA’s. In the Gulf Coast Region to enjoy. Not only was VSA-LSU able to display a phenomenal performance to all, but Date Auction had also brought friends closer through dancing and performing. Even after Date Auction, the friendships were strengthened and many bonds were made within the organization. Most dancers would say they enjoyed Date Auction purely because of the people they meet and friends they make. Date Auction had also given general members the confidence to perform at our VSA-LSU events like Spotlight (night of talents) and VEGA (Vietnamese Entertainment Gala Awards).
