Please explain the idea behind this design and how it was executed. How successful does this design get its message across?
“In designing the t-shirt for Ole VASA, I wanted to clearly showcase the old traditional Vietnamese Culture with a modern twist. I designed the shirt to be like a postcard with the title “Greetings from Ole Vasa.” From the white and pink flowers, the detailed lions in the background, and the traditional Ao Dai that the woman is wearing, Vietnamese culture is truly represented. I think the idea of a postcard and the font I chose for the design helps bring in a more modern twist. Each element was designed individually and then combined later using PhotoShop.”
